having a fever really, really sucks.

the last few days have been pretty insane, and not in a good way ):

sunday: wake up, feel extremely heavy headed, terrible headache that decides to stay for next few days. despite it being father's day, decide to sleep the better part of the day away. wake up. one panadol (paracetamol) tablet, more sleep. wake at 2AM(ish) with a ~39degree (celcius) fever. more panadol followed by even more sleep.

monday: headache remains. work and uni today. abs slightly sore from coughing, body aches. possibly asthma related? will attempt work first. at work, replying to emails, feeling beyond super ill and quite dizzy. walk to the station, decide home seems the safer option. return home. sleep the day away. nebuliser and warm liquids. chicken soup; lemon, ginger and honey drink. night time, 38.6degree fever. more panadol and high doses of sleep. unbroken sleep.

tuesday: 38.1degree fever at 8am. body unbelievably sore. rest, warm fluid, nebuliser. 38.6degrees by 3:30pm. doctor's at 6pm. declared "infected" by 6:30PM; prescribed antibiotics. chemist's -15minute long wait (possibly the longest wait of my week), home. half hearted attempt at eating dinner; can't eat. antibiotic tablets. sleep. 1AM(ish), 39.3degree temperature. two panadol tablets. fever breaks.

wednesday/today: wake up. things seem clear[er]. check temperature; *fingers crossed*; 36.5degrees. positive. throat still sore, must be from the coughing; abs hurt less when coughing. awake for hours; decide to watch morning/daytime tv with my dad. 2PM; sleep. 4PM; wake up. four missed calls, worry. call back;;
x.
