the one with the shoes & fireworks.

Hey guys.

Remember how I wanted the pretty (tweenie) shoes? WELL CHECK OUT WHAT I WAS WEARING YESTERDAY!

[haha -sorry about that]

Moving on; last night. I forgot to let you know (in my last post) that there were FIREWORKS last night! Haha. Oh, they were so, so very exciting (sorry for sounding like a little child, but I really enjoy fireworks)! I even managed to take a couple of pretty photos (:

We ended up going to the fair/festival thingy in the late afternoon and headed back home (family friend's house) well before the fireworks actually started but it didn't really matter since we could see the fireworks from their place anyway. Oh by the way, I was really surprised to read that you only get to see fireworks once a year Jackie. What about New Year's Eve? We have some really, really awesome fireworks displays here in Australia (I think they've been said to be some of the best around the world). I've never been into the city on NYE to watch them before (NYE is really, really family based for me -like most other times of celebration =D), but they look pretty amazing on TV (and my friends say that they're really awesome). Maybe next year I can go and take some photos :)

Anyway, here are some pretty pictures from last night (thanks to the spiffy "fireworks" setting on my camera XD):

See the pretty colours?

Don't you just love the trailing effect?

Red and blue (:

I love the green and orange.

This one reminds me of a pretty flower.

You can see the power lines in this picture (boo) but the fireworks make up for it!

:)

It's almost dinner time here, so I'm off.
Take care of yourself guys (be good!)!

<3

PS. Neil -I'm distracted enough with this blog, dailybooth, deviantart etc., etc., etc.! Haha. Fear not though, I shall return and we can continue our Animal Crossing gaming sessions =)!

PPS. I've been listening to BSB a lot lately! I'd almost forgotten why I enjoyed their music so much.

Nope! No fireworks on New Year's Eve. I think it might be that it's too cold when we have New Year's to do them.
We usually only really have them on our independence day, July 4th.
We've had them at my town's homedays carnivals though. But they haven't been having the carnivals for a few years. (boo) =(
